Smart Agents integrates directly into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as an extension. This section covers the complete lifecycle of the extension, from installation through daily usage.
Overview
The Smart Agents BC extension adds the following to your Business Central environment:
- Chat interface for natural language interaction with AI agents
- Agent management pages for configuring and creating agents
- Template library for activating pre-built agent templates
- Administration pages for user management, permissions, and credit allocation
- Usage dashboard for monitoring credit consumption

Permission Sets
The extension installs two permission sets:
| Permission Set | Description |

| SMART AGENTS USER | Standard access to chat, agents, and personal usage data |
| SMART AGENTS ADMIN | Full access including user management, configuration, and audit logs |
Assign these permission sets to users through the standard Business Central user management pages.
