The Suggested Prompts subpage lets you define the quick-start prompt chips shown to users when they open a new chat with this agent. Each prompt has a short label (the chip) and a full prompt text that is sent to the agent when the user clicks it. It is embedded in the Smart Agent card.

In plain terms

A prompt is just the message a user sends an agent. Suggested prompts are pre-written starter messages you offer users so they don't face a blank box and wonder what to type.

They work like the quick-launch cues on a Role Center — one click runs a common, useful action. Each chip has a short Title (what the user sees) and the full Prompt Text (what actually gets sent).

Worked example. For a Finance Helper, add chips like "Top 10 overdue customers", "This month's sales vs last month", and "Draft a payment reminder for customer 10000". New users click one and immediately see the agent in action.

How to open it

  • This page is embedded in the Smart Agent card. Choose the Suggested Prompts action in the Related group.

Fields

Suggested Prompts (repeater)

FieldTypeDescription
EnabledBooleanWhen on, this prompt appears on the new-chat screen.
TitleTextShort label shown on the prompt chip (for example, "Top customers"). Required.
Prompt TextTextThe full prompt text that is sent to the agent when the user clicks the chip. Required.

Notes

  • Rows are ordered automatically. New rows are inserted after the last existing prompt.
  • Prompts with Enabled turned off are saved but not shown to users in the chat interface.
  • There is no fixed limit on the number of prompts you can define, but the chat interface renders the first few in order. Keep titles short so they fit neatly on the chip buttons.
